Football Star Jordan Njoku Commits to UNLV

Senior linebacker Jordan Njoku announced his commitment to play Division I college football for the University of Nevada Las Vegas in February of this year. At the end of the high school season, he had six total offers, including three to play in the highest division of college football (the Football Bowl Subdivision) from UNLV, San Diego State and University of New Mexico. His other 3 offers were from Delaware State, Portland State and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, who all play in the FCS, the second highest division. 

Njoku announced his commitment to UNLV after having 102 tackles this season with three sacks, one forced fumble, and an interception, while averaging 12.8 tackles per game. This spectacular season made him a 3-star prospect and a top 100 prospect in California. At 6 '3 and 225 pounds, Njoku could make an immediate impact for the UNLV linebacker corps in the new Mountain West conference that will now include Air Force, North Dakota State and Northern Illinois.
