Culver City’s Friday Night Lights were back in full capacity for CCHS Football’s first home game of the season on September 10th. That night, the team won their first home game against Pasadena. Although Culver football ended the first half down by 10 points, they were able to make a comeback and win the game 43-34. Aaron Salas, middle linebacker for Culver, believes the team was able to win because they didn’t give up on each other or blame each other for any mistakes made in the first half.

Salas says having fans at their games “raises morale amongst the team.” As CCHS continues to play in the Bay League this season, the team hopes to continue having fans in the stands, as long as it adheres to the city’s COVID-19 guidelines. They will keep their minds on the title of Bay League Champions and look forward to upcoming games as the season progresses.
