CCHS Track and Field went into the 2024 season as girls state champions, and delivered on the expectation of success. Athletes such as Duaine Mayrant, CIF champion in the 400 meters, Morgan Maddox CIF champion in the 200 and 400 meters, Joaquin Bell Andrade, 2nd in Bay league for the 800 meters, and many others represented the team on their way to success. Many athletes had great seasons with some winning CIF and others committing to run in college. Furthermore, as a team, CCHS placed 4th overall in the mens and 7th overall in the women’s CIF.
