The Culver City Centaurs varsity football team celebrated a 28-0 win against the Redondo Union Seahawks on Oct. 7, the Homecoming game. The bleachers were filled with students, faculty Culver City residents, and even CCHS alumni. Fans were not disappointed by the Centaurs’ four touchdowns, two of them in the first quarter.

As the team had unfortunately lost their three previous games, spirits were high after Friday’s amazing comeback game. All of this contributed to an excellent Homecoming game for all Culver City fans, who were also able to enjoy the Marching Band, Cheer Team, and Homecoming parade during the halftime show. After beating Peninsula High School’s varsity football team last Friday 55-33, the Centaurs have their next game on Oct. 21 at home against Palos Verdes High School, and will hopefully continue their success there.
