On Oct. 22, CCHS held Senior Night for four of their teams on campus. Before the game, the Sports Medicine team, which ensures the safety of players and students across the campus, and CCHS Cheer were honored. There was a prevalent theme of CCHS’ gratitude for its trainers and the time they put in to keep our sports teams healthy.

CCHS Football had its own student night as well. At the beginning of the game, there were posters and a balloon arch and to honor their 17 seniors. That night, CCHS won against Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, ending their senior year football experience on a high note.

During halftime, the seniors in CCHS Band were honored as well. They walked through a tunnel of pom-poms and took photos with their families. CCHS Cheer then revealed the identity of the student who had been representing the school’s mascot, Sammy the Centaur, for the past four years.
