Loss of two great minds

In the past few weeks, we have lost two great creative minds: Stan Lee and Stephen Hillenburg.
 
Stan Lee, Marvel’s primary creative director for two decades and the creator of Spiderman, died at age 95 on November 12th. He was the beloved face of Marvel comics for many years and went on to become a well known face in the recent Marvel movies, playing bit parts such as a deliveryman and bus driver. He was credited as executive producer on many projects, even including  upcoming films such as Captain Marvel. He will be missed by many fans and his two children.
Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of Spongebob Squarepants, died at age 57 on November 26th due to ALS. His show has been running for almost twenty years and is beloved by all viewers of all ages. Many people are saddened by his passing, including the network Nickelodeon, who released a statement regarding his death. Hillenburg’s memory lives on in one of the most popular cartoons to date.
Both men will be missed for their profound impacts on the creative world.
